“No I’m not mad that’s just my face.” Apparently I have what some people call a “resting bitch face.” When I’m not interacting with people or I’m lost in thought at a meeting, I’ve been asked too many times, “what’s wrong?” NOTHING!! I’m just sitting here. Clearly, as this “ailment” now has a name, it is a very common occurrence in society. So why is it such a big deal? Is the permanent surprised expression caused by plastic surgery and Botox so rampant that normal faces look pissed off?
I’ve heard men tell women to smile more or don’t be such a snob. Screw you! I’m NOT going to walk around or sit at my desk with a permanent smile on my face. No one should have to nor should they be persecuted for their normal face and resting expression.
Have we become so over conscious and judgmental to attack people for looking like…nothing?? ARG that is maddening!!! Good job society, now there is a reason I look pissed off. }:-(
haha. amen! you don’t know how many times I’ve been told that I “look like a bitch”
